Dad helping us get the pumpkins ready.
All the kids getting ready to gut them. Austin was so funny he didn't want to get his hands dirty. So dad told him to pretend that he was spider man and he was digging in spider webs. Austin said, thanks dad, that makes it even worse. But he still did it. Ben on the other hand is extremely anal and spent most of the time making sure that each pumpkin was completely cleaned out. Thanks Dad.
We have two that Austin and Tessa designed them selves, a cat, a witch, the batman symbol, an alien, a traditional pumpkin face , a pumpkin face with fangs, and a werewolf. I think that is it. We have a total of 9. Crazy, but a lot of fun.
We also went on the Haunted River in Provo. Not something that I would recommend, for the price. But the kids had some fun and got free candy. I think tonight we will go to the drive by haunted house. It is pretty cool, you sit in your car and listen to a radio station that is playing the Haunted Mansion from Disney and lights will light up according to the song.

If you don't know what it is, it's the Monster symbol. Pretty cool. What do you think?
Austin opening his presents.
This is called Bakugan, Austin and his friends are obsessed with them. Every time we looked for them at the store, they were all gone. So we lucked out to find a pack of 6.
So when we went to order his cake he chose a transformer cake, the gal that was helping us, asked Austin what he wanted it to say, he chose " Happy Birthday From Optimus Prime." Pretty cool. We ate pizza and cake then headed out doors. It was really cold so we went from outside to the inside pretty fast. Ben got the extra ticket, so he took the kids everywhere, and I got to sit back and make sure we didn't lose anyone.
So again from 3 p.m. to about 9 p.m. long party, but I think he had a blast. Until next year.

So because of my brilliant idea, not only do I have to clean up hate paint mess, I also had to clean this mess up. Word of advise, if you need the kids out of your hair while you are painting, get them a movie or playing a board game. Or do it when the kids are at school.
